for now, i will stop following my favorite teams. i just can't see them lose and be unaffected.
there's nadal. then real madrid. feu men and women's volleyball team. for a time, i have celebrated their joy and it has affected me tremendously. but losing? it is still hard after all to accept it.
i will now stop following the dallas mavericks to avoid the pain.
because winning is something but accepting defeat is everything.

Spike

one thing na natutunan ko sa laro ng FEU MVT is huwag tira lang ng tira.
there are lot of ways to score a point sa laro ng volleyball. sa serve, sa block at sa palo.
sa palo, madaming paraan. meron ung tamang placing. o kaya sa tamang timing at tamang lakas pwede na. sa paraan ng FEU, laging sa lakas ang pamamaraan na gamit nila.
given na that they can hit the ball really hard. they can set beautiful plays. but thing is, wag nang ipilit ang isang bagay na hindi pupuwede. think of other ways to get the score.
so i guess, huwag ko na ring ipilit ang mga hangarin ko sa ngayon. i will think of other ways to score sa life.
the team may have lost this season but the spirit will only be more encouraged to train hard to get the championship next season.
as for me, i will not give up as well. i will just be more motivated to succeed.

Distraction
hindi naman sa nagpapakabaliw ako sa lungkot. it's just that there is this void when i come home sa pampanga and i will not see her in her room. nor there will be this person who will disturb my peace once i am inside my room.
for now, makikisigaw muna ako sa tuwa habang pumapalo si magsumbol. heto ang video:

What's In a Name?
Would you ever want to wake up and go to school even if you know you'll be bullied? Or let's say just doing your own thing but you know, people will laugh at you?
You know that the reason is within you. It defines you. Basically, it's you. Yes, it's you-your name.
Take this for example. There is a great volleyball player in Russia who goes by the name of Semen Poltavsky.

Yes! Believe me. It is really his name! Mind you, he is such a great volleyball player that no words can describe how he hits the ball.
He serves and spikes the ball like there's no tomorrow. Watch this:
Nevertheless, my team for the Gold medal in the coming Beijing Olympics is still BRAZIL.
With his abilities, his name doesn't really matter if it is that horrible. I am just wondering what his parents were thinking when he was born.
Makes me thank my parents for my name.
